For sale is an original signed oil on canvas painting by Harold Quistgaard of what we believe to be a view of the St. Louis Cathedral from Bourbon St. This painting is oil on canvas and came to us from an estate in the Hudson Valley upstate New York. The previous owners were freaking visitors and formerly lived in the New Orleans area and collected many paintings from local New Orleans artists including this one. There is one 1 inch long tear in the canvas and two areas which looks like some type of object was laid against the canvas while it was stored away for many years prior to the estate going up for sale.

These will course require some art restoration The tear is very clean and the conservation costs should be very minimal. A cleaning would also be good for future conservation of this painting.

The painting is signed by the artist on the bottom right H. This painting is housed in a whitewashed wooden molded picture frame. Framed - 35" x 35".
