Up for sale is a VERY RARE and HARD TO FIND piece of New Orleans Saints Super Bowl 44 history! This is an ACTUAL piece of the black & gold turf/sod/grass (this particular piece is solid gold) from the New Orleans Saints end zone from Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL where Pierre Thomas scored the very first Super Bowl touchdown in New Orleans Saints history! This turf/sod/grass is an NFL officially licensed freeze-dried & preserved piece of the New Orleans Saints black & gold end zone from Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL. This section of preserved turf measures approx. The display includes a card with the Super Bowl logo, NFL hologram sticker & a photo of the particular section of the field it came from taken during the game. On the back of the card there are stats from the game but some the stats are attributed to the wrong team (see attached photos).

It comes in a UV glass display case to display on a shelf, table, etc. As a side note, this turf was also used the week before for the Pro Bowl 2010 and this piece of the field was the blue NFC end zone. The turf/sod/grass is/was Bermuda grass overseeded with perennial rye grass.
